Kinmen County Motor Vehicle Supervision
Office was set up under the approbation of “Ministry of Transportation and Communications”
in September 1973. It was in streamline organization and the occupational activities
were transacted by Kinmen County Construction Section.
In 1974, formal Kinmen County Motor
Vehicle Supervision Office was set up and responsible for all the Transportation
occupational activities within Kinmen county. In 1985, the office moved to Building
of Kinmen County Motor Vehicle Supervision and set up equipments for automatic license
tests and vehicle inspections. According to the heavily increased daily cases, we
computerized the daily jobs in 1992. In 1994, the system connected to the National
Motor Vehicle Supervision Network which improved the efficiency of administration
and achieved the goal of convenient services.
